Island Adventures
Bali was a bit of a disappointment for Maura, who imagined a bit more of the white, white sand and less of the touristy stuff, even though she had been forewarned -- Erik tolerated Bali and was a good sport about it. We went to Ubud, where Maura had selected a posh (and cheap for being posh!) resort for the stay. The room overlooked a gorge where the river snaked through the valley. Spectacular!
